A very different location to be writing! Right now I’m outside the chicken center in a small town called kunnakal. And this post is the way I pass time as I await my 1.75kg chicken which is being cut . I watched as the owner of the shop tried to get hold of a scared chicken. They were running- running for life. Oh the scared look on their faces! The tiny voices of despair. What were they feeling as they were running?? Please don’t catch me! But then someone else u lived with will be killed! Oh what a desperate state! And then finally the man got hold of one. It stopped screeching.whats the point now; perhaps that’s what it was thinking. Whatever happened next was too much for me to watch and hence I’m outside the shop, comfortably writing. After few more minutes I’ll get my order and will the scene I witnessed have any impact on me! Absolutely not! For here I go, mentally making a list of items to be procured to prepare a delicious chicken curry! The irony of human life! Forefather Adam, when you were appointed as the caretaker of all these tiny creatures, was there a clause on eating them?hmm..I wonder.

Nothing but a recipient of Christ's grace. I am a young doctor and I use this space to find meaning in the bedlam of my thoughts. My blog might resonate with the screams of a young adult finding her place in life, the stench of hospital corridors, images of the many people who intrigue me and the lessons my Saviour Jesus teaches me.
