The sunrise

During our stay at Mundakayam, we decided to visit a place called” Panchalimedu” and enjoy the sunrise from there.

6 of us, along with our senior friend, set out early with absolutely no idea of the beauty of the place we were visiting. After nearly 30minutes drive, we reached our destination. And then began the climb..we wrestled with the cold wind and dyspnoea on our way up. All that greeted our eyes was sprinkled with beauty. The green grass gracefully shared the stage with its yellow toned kin. Several crosses adorned the hill. During our climb, sun yawned and made his way out of bed! And it was truly a blissful site. Yes. We have all seen the sun rise before. But everytime you see it, there is a new beauty. When I was younger, I would feel jealous of the sun- I had imagined it to be coming directly from the  Creator’s side!

Every sunrise is a moment of hope…a new day, with all its surprises and suspense, awaits you. And I always praise God when I watch either the sunrise or the’s beauty, to me is a reflection of God’s amazing grace.

Nothing but a recipient of Christ's grace. I am a young doctor and I use this space to find meaning in the bedlam of my thoughts. My blog might resonate with the screams of a young adult finding her place in life, the stench of hospital corridors, images of the many people who intrigue me and the lessons my Saviour Jesus teaches me.
