The wrong words.

Have you ever regretted a certain conversation? Something you said that you wished you could have taken back? And the worst part is the sad truth- a word out of your mouth and a drawn arrow cannot be taken back.

A recent incident reminded me the importance of every word coming from my mouth. It also taught me how fragile relationships are. It takes only few words to cause strains in any deep rooted relation. But it takes many a word and much work to patch up the wounds. And then there is the demon called ego who needs to be wrestled as you fight to make things right. On the whole, you find yourself in an emotional mess. And you curse the words that triggered all this drama. But alas, it may be too late.

Nothing but a recipient of Christ's grace. I am a young doctor and I use this space to find meaning in the bedlam of my thoughts. My blog might resonate with the screams of a young adult finding her place in life, the stench of hospital corridors, images of the many people who intrigue me and the lessons my Saviour Jesus teaches me.
